Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases are interconnected, and personalised medicine links them up even more closely. We aim to offer patients the best possible treatment.

Intensive research helps us track down the causes of diseases and identify specific predispositions. Selective tests can then be performed to determine in good time whether a disease may develop from a particular predisposition. This knowledge clears the way for preventive medical measures before a disease develops.

If the disease is already manifest, however, rapid and precise diagnosis offers the best opportunity for state-of-the-art medical treatment. Monitoring of treatment by means of diagnostic tests means that it can be tailored to patients' individual needs, thereby improving their quality of life.
