Tower Talks - join the next panel discussion event as an interactive virtual experience

Are you interested in socio-political topics, future trends and our healthcare system? Then be our guest at the event series Tower Talks (Turmgespräche).

Roche invites you to an open exchange on current, visionary and sometimes controversial topics and would like to encourage you to ask questions, think, philosophize and discuss.

Depending on the topic, we discuss with external experts, specialists and industry insiders. We would like to pass on knowledge, but also to promote an exchange between scientists and experts from different fields and the general public.

The events are free of charge and are organized by one of our sites in Switzerland. Due to the current situation, the next Tower Talk will take place as a virtual event. Details can be found below.

Our current event

On 27 and 28 May 2020, Roche will continue the Tower Talk series (Turmgespräche) hosted this year by ETH Zurich on the topic "Patient - Data - Security: Cyber threats in healthcare - are we at risk?”

The world is scrambling to develop a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 to prevent COVID-19. Access to sensitive and confidential patient data could be a game changer for researchers battling current and future pandemics, but what actually happens to your medical data? How do hospitals, universities, and healthcare providers share data to advance research? How will tomorrow’s cybersecurity infrastructure and governance protect us?

Together with the ETH Zurich, Roche invites you to a special virtual edition of the Tower Talks event series. In two free 45-minute lunchtime sessions you will have the opportunity to listen, learn, and engage in a dialogue with four incredible data security experts and scientists.
