This is ensured through an infrastructure that strives to provide our employees with the best possible working environment where they can concentrate on their work. This includes three staff restaurants offering a range of culinary options with healthy and varied dishes. In informal areas like the cafeteria, the 24-hour lounge or Evolution Square, employees can meet up with colleagues to exchange ideas or recharge batteries over a coffee, a game of table football or ping-pong. The outdoor areas of the campus in Rotkreuz are accessible to visitors and the public.

Flexible work environment

Roche has been introducing activity-based working (ABW) in Rotkreuz since 2020. Employees have the flexibility to choose rooms that are best suited to their respective task or working style. This means more informal communication, a breaking down of silo mentality, and the encouragement of innovation. This also promotes a more sustainable, environmentally friendly use of space.

Room for relaxation

At Evolution Square, our employees can meet up with colleagues to exchange ideas or recharge batteries over a coffee, a game of table football or ping-pong. The outdoor areas of the campus in Rotkreuz are accessible to visitors and the public.

Restaurants for employees and the public

Our employees can eat at three different restaurants operated by Eldora AG. The restaurants “Quadra Lago” and “Quadra Terra”, along with the coffee shop, are open to the public. We offer our guests a wide range of fresh, healthy and local dishes.

Sharing ideas promotes innovation

For a site like Rotkreuz, where a wide range of disciplines and areas work together, a cross-sector exchange of ideas is important. In order to support and promote this exchange, we offer various events on campus. These include internal events for our employees, and events for the public, which are regularly advertised on our website.

Modern infrastructure

Employees who wish to exercise at the site on workdays, or who want to cycle to work can make the most of the modern infrastructure at the site. Lockable bike rooms, workbenches for repairs and pumps are available. There are also sports changing rooms with showers and lockable cupboards.
