The event afternoon offered participants a diverse programme that seamlessly combined innovation with personal connection. A particular highlight was the look behind the scenes: during a tour of production and the showroom, students experienced first-hand how our high-performance diagnostic devices are built and how precision diagnostics works in practice. 

Inspirational talks followed from Roche leaders across engineering, marketing and life sciences. They shared authentic insights into their day-to-day work, discussed current industry challenges and highlighted the vital role interdisciplinary teamwork plays at Roche. 

Concrete career planning was also high on the agenda. Our Early in Career & Recruiting team provided valuable guidance on the wide range of entry opportunities at Roche—from internships to graduate programmes—and offered practical application tips straight from the source. 

The day concluded on a high note with a relaxed networking apéro. At various department booths, students took the opportunity to ask their burning questions in an informal setting, seek personal advice and make initial valuable connections for their professional futures.
