First Klima-Charta Zug+ Summit at RDI in Rotkreuz

The event offered a well-balanced mix of presentations, workshops and opportunities to share experiences and to network. The range of topics was broad and offered many exciting insights - from sustainable mobility solutions and the use of solar energy to the communication and anchoring of climate commitment.

Sustainability is part of the Roche DNA

In 2022, Roche Diagnostics was one of the first members to decide to support the initiative financially, because the Klima-Charta Zug+ makes a valuable contribution to the topic of sustainability, which in turn has a high priority for Roche and is an integral part of the corporate strategy. An important aspect of this is the protection of the climate and the environment. The Rotkreuz site has been involved in this area for many years by researching and implementing new, more sustainable technologies and processes. This is why RDI is also involved in the Klima-Charta Zug+. This is because it offers advice at a technical and strategic level to support companies in reducing their CO2 emissions. Together, concrete measures are sought and implemented in the areas of climate, environment and communication.

RDI supports Klima-Charta Zug+ right from the start

The Klima-Charta Zug+ was launched at the beginning of 2023. The initiative was launched by the Zug Chamber of Commerce, the WERZ Institute (University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland), the Zug Technology Forum and Switzerland Innovation Park Central in close cooperation with the Canton of Zug and is aimed at the entire Zug economy. Roche Diagnostics International was one of the early members to support the project with seed capital, making an important contribution to getting the initiative off the ground.
